Our musical ‘An Inspector Calls’ – a statement

In light of recent events, we have withdrawn from sale our 2017 musical ‘An Inspector Calls’. To those schools who have purchased the production this year with a view to performing it in the summer term, we are offering a free replacement – please email info@edgyproductions.com to request a title of your choice.

Although this musical is critical of the inspection process, its tone is light-hearted and we therefore feel it is inappropriate and insensitive to continue selling it. We were shocked and saddened to learn the news about Ruth Perry and firmly stand behind the call for the reform of current school inspection practices.
